The Naga have varied physiology but generally share a common ancient ancestor. The word “Naga” itself means “Serpent” in their own tongue, although many may not have serpentine features. The Naga come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors. Some may be fresh or saltwater. Many feature gills, allowing them to breathe underwater. Those that do not have gills typically have large, advanced lungs that are capable of holding air for a long period of time. Some have tough, hard scales that make them formidable opponents in combat, especially when combined with their natural dexterity.
