The Kingsguard report directly to the king and the governor. They investigate threats against the governor and the king, while keeping the castle secure. They are composed of the remnants of the Slayer society that Arvo turned into the Kingsguard. Their cloaks are green with a small, iron, wolf pin on the shoulder. Their hierarchy follows typical military ranks, that being a commander of the guard, followed by 5 captains who are the heads of a company, that are a composed of a first and second Lieutenant that are each over a platoon of 3 squads, with are led by sergeants who are over 6-10 troops.

In total, the Kingsguard has 256 enlisted members, including Officers. The numbers fluctuate from time to time, but generally the Kingsguard is seen as a lifetime appointment. It is an honor to be selected from the Rangers, army, or city police to enroll in the Kingsguard. However, simply being selected is not enough as you must pass risky trials to be actually enter the Kingsguard. Once passed, you are expected to take an oath to protect the King and Country of Bedrock from all harm. This binding oath gives the Kingsguard their authority and jurisdiction.
