Starting Equipment & Gold
When creating your character, you may choose from the following equipment, as well as what is granted:
A one handed melee weapon worth no more than 50 gold, or 10 gold.
A shield, or 5 gold.
A two handed melee weapon worth no more than 50 gold, or 20 gold.
A Polearm, or a Lance, or 40 gold.
A ranged weapon worth no more than 80 gold, or 40 gold.
A saddle, and a mount worth no more than 300 Gold pieces, or 100 gold.
Any Armor worth no more than 200 Gold, or 100 gold.
A full case of 1 type of Ammunition, or 2 gold.
A Heraldic Surcoat, or a Tabard.

Knight’s Crest
Your Knightly Crest is a symbol of your honor, and what you stand for. These crests are often associated with combat distinctions, feats of strength, moments of glory, or other notable features of your knighthood. You may choose a Knight’s Crest, and it’s general appearance.
Below are a list of Crests you may choose. You can have only one Knight’s Crest. You gain crest features at level 1, 5, 9, 13, and 17.
Crest of the Chevalier
Knights who boast the Crest of the Chevalier are known for their skills as a rider. They are commonly born of noble houses, or have proven themselves before their masters, serving as the leading charge in battle. The Chevalier and their mount are a versatile and methodical pair, breaking through their foes with speed and power.
Crest of the Protector
Knights adorned with the Crest of the Protector champion the ideal of protecting others. Some are selfless heroes, and others find that the best offence is an impervious defence.
Crest of the Lord
Knights bearing the Crest of the Lord carry the graces of their noble line, and are idealized to maintain selfless leadership and guidance during times of war and hardship. Their image and presence alone instills high morale among their allies.
Crest of the Martyr
Knights granted the Crest of the Martyr are courageous champions of the cause. The crest represents the deeds performed by martyrs of the past, and those not yet done. Martyr Knights understand that necessity and hardship may take take its toll, and do not fear death.
Crestfallen
A Crestfallen knight has cast away their heraldry and its held ideals, and now fights for themselves, or for nothing at all.
Defender
At level 2, you gain the ability to protect those near you. Twice per Rest, If you or an ally within 5 feet of you is targeted by an attack, you can choose to expend your Reaction to intercept and Guard against the attack, causing it to target you instead.
When you use Defender to Guard an attack, your AC rises by 2 against the attack you are intercepting. The intercepted attack then must exceed your AC to deal damage to you.
At level 14, you gain two additional uses of Defender.
Knight’s Virtue
At level 3, you begin to embody an ideal, and gain a powerful boon, and choose a Virtue. You cannot have the same virtue twice.
You gain an additional Virtue at level 10 and 19.
Courage: You gain 3 additional Vitality for every Knight Level you have.
Fortitude: You gain 1 AC.
Reason: Your Wisdom and Intelligence attributes increase by 2.
Strength: If a weapon uses Strength for it’s Weapon Attribute, it gains 1 additional accuracy.
Faith: Your Divine attribute increases by 2.
Nobility: Your Charisma attribute increases by 3.
Hope: Your Death Saving Throw DC is lowered by 2.
Humility: Your Occult and Arcane attributes decrease by 1, and your Charisma and Divine attribute increase by 2.
Retaliation
At level 6, if a target has damaged you since the end of your last turn, you have advantage on attacks made against that target.
Unwavering
At level 7, you can force even the most deadly of blows to merely glance off you, and your resilience lends to your sturdiness. You add half of your Constitution bonus (rounded down, minimum 1) to your Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
Attack Efficiency
At level 11, your Attack action costs 1 less action point.
Everlasting
At level 15, once per Rest, when you succeed a Death Saving Throw for the first time, your Death Saving Throw DC does not increase as it normally would. Additionally, your base Death Saving Throw DC is decreased by 4.
Stalwart Defender
At level 18, when you use Defender to intercept an attack, your AC increases by 4 against the attack you are intercepting, rather than 2.
Leading Rebuke
At level 21, you show the highest of vigilance. If an enemy starts their turn in your Melee range, or enters your melee range on their turn, you may make a Melee attack against that enemy.
