To create a character for Lucerne, you must first perform an array of dice rolls in order to determine your Attributes.
There are two methods that have differing probability.
METHOD 1 - 4d6kh3 10 times, choosing 9 totals.
You roll 4 six sided dice, known as d6. Keep the highest 3 rolls of the four. For example:
4 d6 rolled: [
16 3 5] 6+5+3 = 14.
Perform this 10 times, and select what results you wish to have as each attribute.
Here are 10 example results and where the Attributes have been placed.
17 - Strength
12 - Dexterity
15 - Constitution
14 - Divine
11 - Arcane
12 - Occult
10 - Intelligence
11 - Wisdom
9 - Charisma
7 - Unused
If a result is a 6 or lower, you reroll that result. Some GM’s may allow you to reroll your array if none of your attributes total to at least 15.
METHOD 2
There is an alternative method in which you roll 5 four sided dice, known as d4. Keep the the highest 4 results of the 5 rolled. For example:
5 d4 rolled: [
14 3 2 3] 4+3+2+3 = 12.
Perform this 10 times, and select what results you wish to have as each attribute.
Here are 10 example results and where the Attributes have been placed.
12 - Strength
12 - Dexterity
14 - Constitution
15 - Divine
10 - Arcane
10 - Occult
11 - Intelligence
11 - Wisdom
9 - Charisma
8 - Unused
If a result is a 6 or lower, you reroll that result.
