Berserker

The Berserker wields fury and strength, entering a form of trance to prepare for battles on their Path of Blood. They are no stranger to bloodshed, and their rituals are a powerful sight to behold.

Battle Trance

At Level 1, you can choose to prepare for battles by entering a Battle Trance during a Rest. You enter a ritualistic state, whether by calling upon your ancestors, or indulging in the idea of wanton bloodshed, or some other ritual you perform. Upon completion of the ritual, you gain the effects of Rage until the end of your next battle.

Host of the Carnage

At Level 5, once per turn, whenever you kill a target while Raging, you gain 3 AP.

Fury of the Ancients

At Level 9, your rage draws out a terrifying form of fighting. Once per rest, you may enter a Berserker’s Fury when you are Raging. While in a Berserker’s Fury, you start your turns with 2 additional action points. At the end of your Rage, you gain a point of Exhaustion, and Berserker’s Fury ends.

Avatar of Pain

At Level 13, when you take damage while you are at half Vitality or lower, you can spend your reaction to attack a target that damaged you. This attack is made at advantage while you are Raging.

Additionally, Host of the Carnage is no longer limited to once per turn.

Blood Rage

At Level 17, your Rage is only made stronger by the presence of your own blood. When you succeed making a Death Save, you begin raging if you were not already. After succeeding a death save, you are immune to damage until the start of your next turn.
