Ashbringer

Ashbringers are barbarians whose inner powers manifest as a raging flame. Those that walk the Scorched Path are destructive by nature and channel their fury into an infernal onslaught.

Bear the Flame

At Level 1, your inner spirit is set ablaze.

Your Rage is modified into a Burning Rage. Burning Rage does not end early if your turn ends and you haven't attacked an enemy since your last turn or taken damage since then. You cannot choose to end your rage.

While you are raging, you are magically Burning. While Burning, you emit 30 feet of fiery dim light, and you take 1d6 Fire damage at the start of your turns.

While you are raging, your melee attacks deal 1d6 Fire damage on hit. If the dice rolls a 6, the target hit begins Burning. If the target is not a creature, they begin Burning regardless of the damage dice roll.

You cannot be brought below 1 Vitality by Burning, and you do not take damage from Burning if you are at 1 or lower Vitality.

Wake of Destruction

At Level 5, the powers of fiery destruction manifest within you.

Damage you deal to objects is doubled.

While you are raging, you have resistance to cold and fire damage.

While you are Burning, creatures you touch must succeed a Constitution saving throw or begin Burning. This ability's DC is 8 + CON. A creature automatically succeeds this save if they have already succeeded the saving throw on the same round.

Ravaging Flames

At Level 9, your flames scorch the very spirit of your enemies.

When you hit a Burning creature with a melee attack that deals Fire damage, that creature gains 1 Fire Vulnerability, to a maximum of 5 Fire Vulnerability.

Ashen Fury

At Level 13, your very flesh may twist into an ashen form, bolstering your resilience, and empowering your strikes.

Your body is protected by ethereal ash and flame while you are raging. You gain 2 additional AC while you are raging. When you are hit by an attacker you can see within 15 feet of you, you may expend a reaction to have your ethereal flames lash out at the attacker, dealing 5d6 Fire damage.

While you are raging, your melee attacks deal 2d6 Fire damage on hit, rather than 1d6.

The Flame Within

At Level 17, you become one with your inner flame.

While you are raging, you have 20 Fire defence.

When a creature that is Burning dies within 30 feet of you, you can choose cause them to burst into a spiraling firestorm of myst. Creatures and objects within 5 feet of them take 3d6 Fire damage and begin Burning.

When you are raging and you die, you burst into a spiraling firestorm of myst. Creatures and objects within 15 feet of you take 6d6 Fire damage and begin Burning.
