Duran
Language - Duran
A divine language originating from holy lands. It is the common language of the Great Heights, and is also commonly used for religious practice- including divine spellcasting.
The ancient culture that formed this language once held sway over much of the north of Thurn, so it is associated with the North almost as much as it is associated with theurgy.
It can be quite beautiful, and as such is often used in music, and temple choirs. Many theurgic rites have a musical element to them.
Duran is mostly spoken by the people of blessed lands, or by those with a strong connection with the divine. It's parent language is primarily Elian.
