Districts -

The City of Harbour Bay is split up into many different districts. These districts were not necessarily planned at first but have become apart of the city planning going forward as they grow. The Lord of Harbour Bay still governs over all of the districts but there is a designated nobleman of the lords choosing who represents each district on the council. Each of these nobleman reside and do business within their own district.

  • Harbour Island

    • This affluent district is home to the crown's closest allies, aristocrats, and consular, and is located in the heart of Harbour Bay. It boasts many of the city's most lavish mansions, high-end shops, and upscale restaurants, making it a prime destination for those seeking luxury and exclusivity. Many embassies and guilds are also located here, as they seek to maintain close proximity to the king.

  • Main Bay

    • As the oldest district in Harbour Bay, Main Bay is steeped in history and tradition. Its narrow streets and alleyways are lined with shops and buildings that have been passed down through generations, each with their own unique stories and secrets. The district's original harbor is still in use, providing a bustling hub of activity as goods and people flow in and out of the city each day.

  • Bay Hill

    • Home to the royal palace and the Temple of the Seven, Bay Hill is a district that exudes grandeur and elegance. Its wide boulevards are lined with imposing mansions, ornate gardens, and fountains, creating an atmosphere of opulence and refinement. The temple at the end of the main road is a striking sight, with its towering spires and intricate stone carvings.

  • Bay Bridge

    • The Bay Bridge is a true marvel of engineering, and has become a community unto itself. Spanning the width of the harbor, the bridge is a bustling thoroughfare, with many buildings constructed atop it, including shops, restaurants, and residences. Its views of the harbor and surrounding districts are unparalleled, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

  • Bay Industrial Harbour

    • This bustling district is the heart of Harbour Bay's industrial sector. Raw materials are transported here by ship and steam trains from around the world, and are then transformed into finished goods by the city's skilled craftsmen and artisans. The district is a hive of activity, with factories, warehouses, and docks all working in concert to ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of the city.

  • Garden Bay

    • As the newest district in Harbour Bay, Garden Bay is a lush oasis of greenery and tranquility. Its broad streets are lined with towering trees, verdant gardens, and charming cottages, creating a peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. The district is home to the jousting arena, the Freak Show Circus, and the unique halfling neighborhood of Burrowdale Grove, with its quaint earth-brick homes nestled in a wooded valley. Many residents of Garden Bay keep small plots of land around their homes, where they grow vegetables, keep livestock, and gather timber, which they then sell at markets like the Tree of Life Market. This blend of natural beauty, exciting attractions, and diverse communities makes Garden Bay a favorite among both locals and visitors.

  • The Float

    • This unique district is built entirely on docks, and is home to Harbour Bay's seafaring community. Its wooden buildings and narrow walkways are protected by towers and drawbridges, which allow larger ships to be stowed inside the docks area. The Float is a lively and colorful district, with a distinct maritime flavor. Its residents are largely fishermen and sailors, who spend their days on the water, braving the sea's unpredictable moods in search of the day's catch.

  • The Muckfields

    • The only district outside Harbour Bay's walls, The Muckfields is a gritty and hardscrabble place. Its buildings are mostly made of wood, and are stacked on top of each other in a chaotic jumble. This is where the city's poorest population lives, struggling to eke out a living in the shadow of the city's wealth and opulence. Despite its rough exterior, The Muckfields is home to a vibrant and tight-knit community, where the bonds of family and friendship are paramount.
