The realm of Alcarces, sometimes called The Pit or The Dark Inferno, is an antithetical realm to Valanthos. It is a fiery and barren realm which is home to the Veldani, a race of fiendish humanoids who once dwelt within Valanthos before the events of the Great Betrayal.
