Afeaa & Kasan were once the guardians of the Black Vaults of Ieró until they betrayed the overseer of Iero.

Afeaa was able to escape Iero and found herself in Ashk, petrified. Her Yuan Ti children spent centauries attempting to return her to life, and were eventually aided by a group of travelers.
