Bahamut

The god of Benevolent Justice, Nobility, and good dragons.

Mythos

One of the first two gods created by the The First Dragon, alongside his twin Tiamat.

During the War of the Gods, Bahamut fought to uphold the harmony and goodness of the world alongside the The First Dragon and Tiamat. When Tiamat betrayed and slew the The First Dragon, Bahamut swore to bring his twin sister to justice. For ages he pursued her while still fighting the forces of Asmodeus.

When Asmodeus was at last defeated and banished, Bahamut conceded to retreat from the world and leave it to the mortals, lest his power destroy all creation.

Towards the end of the Age of Frost and Flame, a group of heroes granted the divine power of Bahamut at last defeated Tiamat and banished her from the world.

At the death of the The First Dragon, Bahamut took up the mantle of God of Metallic Dragons and vowed to uphold the Benevolent Justice that had once existed, taking the title of the Second Dragon.

Cosmologically, Bahamut is opposed to and the eternal rival of Tiamat.
