Mythos
Manirse and Sôlus were both lone travellers across the world in its early days, bringing with them the day and the night. As the gods retreated to Celestia, Sôlus took part of his spirit to create the Sun and Manirse the Moon.
Manirse and Sôlus are often seen as a pair, hope and life, moon and sun.
Cosmologically, Manirse is opposed to Bhaal, the Lord of Despair

Common Worship
Manirse is worshiped in many temples, especially by common folk as a bringer of hope in dark times. Temples to Manirse are often shared with Sôlus. The chief celebration the god is Manirse’s Eve, beginning the summer equinox festival.
