The Fae Lord and God of forests, fate, and renewal.
Mythos
The Fae Lord who led the Expulsion of the Demon Lords from Asdar.
Viðer was born of the Fae Father, the first Fae god, and Da'ir, the Lady of nature. At the betrayal of the The First Dragon by Tiamat, the Fae Father was killed as well. As the Fae Father died, his death created the Fey Wild where his children, the fae, took refuge. Most Fae were content to stay in this realm, but Viðer, who foresaw the fate of the Devil Lords, led the fae who returned to the Material Plane to battle the Devil Lords of Asdar.
Viðer is said to have re-created the forests of the Material plane, combatting the desolation of the Devil Lords. The forests still keep the essence of Viðer, as well as the souls of all elves whose bodies sprung spirit trees.
Husband of Tethlari, the two leading the war on the Demonic Lords together. Said to have had a falling out after Tethlari destroyed a large forest and the Elven Spirit-Trees therein in order to kill a Demon Lord.
Cosmologocally, Viðer is opposed to Otara, the God of Civilisation.
