The Westrûn human people arrived in Asdar around 2500 a.e. Hailing from a continent far to the west, they fled the great destruction of a dragon-riding empire. The Westrûn people are now spread across the western cost of Asdar and into Kantvar, where they have formed plenty of states.

The Westrûn mostly form feudal societies, with a strong elite, knights, and farming villagers.

Though still used as a unifying term, Westrûn culture can now be categorised into three cultures: Flourmani Culture, Carilian Culture, and Kantvari Culture.
