Carília
In southwestern Asdar lies the region of Carília, a picturesque and varied land of small splintered feudal states. The Counties of Carília are a large collection of Westrûn feudal societies in a constant dance of alliances and wars. Most of these lands are ruled by a single lord, yet some larger duchies and a few kingdoms have formed as well.
The people of Carília tend to be far more free-thinking, independent, and adventurous than their Flourmani cousins. The Counts zealously defend their independence while many peasants choose to live as wanderers from time to time. The Errant Knights of Carília are a common sight; some chivalrous, some swashbuckling, some rougish.
In terms of real-world culture, Carília can be seen as a mix of medieval fantastical French and Spanish.
