King of Gods and God of Kings, Ellri stands highest among the Eír Gods, his cunning clear for all to see | Lady of the Waves, Wind, and Travel, Sálir is the strength in our sails and challenge of our journey. | Raised to stand amongst the gods themselves, Saðr Branðr the Hero is the greatest of us all and stands to show what we can aspire to | Súm Light Lord who brings the warm winds and sunny skies to our shores | Séta the capricious who brings us winter, be it a chill or a death. | Baði, Radiant Warlord who leads our armies to victory | Góðr the Berserker, lord of battle and ferocious warriors, his axe cleaves through men and beast with ease. To him we dedicate our foes and claim their blades. |
The Eír Gods
The Eír Gods are the collection of deities most commonly worshipped in Northmark. The Eír Gods are often cunning, capricious, and ferocious, but are believed to award the daring and bold. While for the most part being like the other gods, the Eír Gods are believed to be more prone to walk the Mortal Realm incognito as an avatar, directly taking part in the goings-on of mortals.
A follower of the faith is called an eírtrú.
