Tiamat is the goddess of destruction and greed, and is especially worshipped by those who pursue these goals. In addition, she is the matron of chromatic dragons. | Shaytas is the god of decay, holding powers over death and undeath. He is especially worshipped by necromancers. | Bhaal is the god of murder and madness, especially ritualised killings. His followers kill in his name. | Lolth is the goddess of despair and trickery. The Dread Pentarchy
The Dead Pentarchy is a faith devoted to death, fear, and destruction. Their mission is as simple as it is heinous, to bring all they despise to a cruel end. Some followers see this purpose as the service of renewal, others simply revel in the act. Priests of the Dead Pentarchy seek to guide their followers towards the death and destruction of whichever target they wish.
A follower of the faith is called a pentarch.
The faith of the Dread Pentarchy is favoured by devoted killers and assassins, their deepest desire also fulfilling a divine purpose.
Ideals/Tenets
Death. Kill. Take their life. You feel the urge. Murder is a sacred duty and a cherished past-time.
Destruction. Destroy. Bring it down. You feel the pull. Oppose all order imposed upon you. Subvert it. Destroy it. Let your chaos ooze throughout.
Fear. Let none be safe. Let all beware.
Servitude. There is no dread heaven, yet please the Dread Lords and earn their favour in the Hells.
