The Blood War is an eternal and constant battle waged between the Devils of the Nine Hells and the Demons of the Abyss, between the lawful and chaotic forces of evil.

The main battle ground for the Blood War is Avernus, the First Hell, but the war also spills into other layers of the Nine Hells and into other planes.
