The Vaelaros are a clan of wood elf planewalkers keeping to their primordial nomadic hunter ways.
Tenets
The Old Ways. The clan keeps to an ancient elven way of living, predating the elves' return to the Material Plane. The Old Ways are about closeness to nature, wandering the natural world, and facing the other creatures that dwell in it.
Nomads. The clan travels the world and planes, never staying in one place too long.
The Hunt. Hunting great beasts is what the clan lives for. They travel the planes in search of even greater foes to face.
Strength and Prowess. The clan respects strength and prowess in combat above all.
Leaders & Followers
The clan is made up of various members, many of which are warriors and hunters. The clan is led by its Champion, its strongest member who is not to be questioned in their decisions. The Champion serves for life and a new one is chosen in a Grand Hunt only when the old one dies.

Important Locations & Objects
Marworyn. The most prized and sacred relic of the clan is Marworyn, a powerful artefact that is able to open any closed or dormant planar portal. Marworyn only allows itself to be wielded by the Champion of the clan.
Traditions & Rituals
The Grand Hunt. When the Champion dies, the elders of the clan call for a Grand Hunt. The strongest hunters of the clan are allowed to join it, going out into the world alone to seek and slay its greatest creatures. When the time is right, the hunters bring trophies of their strongest foes to a summit of the clan elders, telling of their deeds. The one deemed most worthy is then chosen as the next Champion of the clan.
