The Hands of the Sun is a holy order of Sôlus devoted to healing, also nicknamed the Healing Hand. The order has chapters in many cities and towns, and opens hospitals in villages stricken by war, disease, or disaster. Many Healing Hands also wander between towns and villages, offering their services.

The order includes some clerics blessed with powerful healing magic, but is most famous for its mundane doctors and surgeons. These are known to only use instruments that are "kissed by the light of the sun", sterilised in radiant flame. Because of this, they are often far more successful than other surgeons.

Tenets

Your Hands Hold Life. Your hands are blessed with the healing light of the sun. Always offer aid to those in need, and seek any opportunity to share your healing light.

Bear the Light of Dawn. Shine bright and true with the light of good. In all things, strive to act in a good and positive way. Shine kindness unto others, aid and inspire those around you, and support all living things. It is a sacred duty to foster good, light, and life in others.

Burn Bright and True. Always act in accordance with the moral code. Do not allow the dark to enter your heart, even for fear of any consequence. Only by always striving to act and to act in a good manner can we keep the dark at bay. It is the goodness of the act that matters in the end.

Be Vigorous of Mind and Body. Your life and body is a gift of the Lifespring. Cultivate your mind, keep it sharp and strong, ready for the seed of inspiration. Tend to your body and health and remain virile throughout your days.

Structure, Leaders, & Followers

The order is decentralised, each chapter operating independently of the others. Each chapter is headed by its Master, who oversees its operations and deals with other organisations and chapters. When necessary, the Masters may all convene to decide on matters that pertain to the whole order.

Each ordained member of the chapter is called a Hand, and all Hands of the order are equal, though they may each specialise.
