Background:
The Guild of the White Ravens is founded on a primary belief: That the advancement of the sentient races is built on the principles of truth and fair dealing. They are always on the search for knowledge of this land and those beyond. The founders of the White Raven are primarily northern folk, from a realm of snowy islands where civilization is hard-earned and trade between clans a necessity for survival. They are seafaring merchants, and their word is their bond. The old legends of the former Kingdom of the White Raven speak of an oathbreaking Jarl, the theft of the sun, and the salvation of humanity through the sacrifice of the Raven. Raven brought the sun back, driving back the darkness of the sky, blinding herself, and bleaching her feathers white in the process.
Now that they are here, the Guild of the White Raven has settled their capital in the islands, similar to their home. They seek to establish trade routes that help them travel the globe and provide fair dealings to the land. Ravens are intelligent birds, inquisitive, and prone to loudly sharing their discoveries amongst the forests. These traits are found in the Guild.

The centerpiece of the White Ravens is the treatment of those they meet and helping to fight for those who may not have the resources to fight for themselves. They do this through a search for knowledge, fair dealings, and dedication to preserving a safe haven in this multiverse.
The White Ravens were the first faction to discover the continent of Vitus Mundi in the game, sailing west from Nova Regnus to find what laid beyond the sea.
Look and Feel:
Faction members wear the look that best represents their character and their character's background and not a uniform faction look. You will find subtle nods to the faction mixed into faction member's outfits. Feather pins, or gold and white touches are often seen.
What types of players would enjoy this faction:
The White Ravens is an inclusive faction that includes many different types of players and characters. They enjoy a good fight, but combat is not our main focus. Treating other players with respect is a top priority for the Ravens. We enjoy helping other factions when they need it. Our players range from lawful to chaotic, but generally fall on the side of good. We also like to try to involve new players were we can. Recruiting them into a fight or scene when it is possible.
How is the Roleplay and Combat Focus in the faction:
At the end of any fight or scene, the main questions isn't "Did we win?", but is "Did we have fun?" Do you enjoy fighting? Great, then fight! It doesn't matter if you are good or not. Would you rather watch from the sidelines? Also great. We love good roleplay scenes and getting to stretch our characters.
