The Order

The Order

The best thing you can do on the field is give a good death.

Background and History:
The Order was established with one tenant in mind: We are guests in Osterra, all that was and all that is now should remain. This ideology speaks to The Order’s desired neutrality in the realm. Do not mistake this neutrality to be one of avoiding conflicts, but rather one to help preserve the nature of the realm that we now call home.

Leader: Grimble Ironarm

Capital: Sateri

The Order fought the first war of Osterra with the Guild of The Black Sky after only just more than a year in the realm. Although losing the battle, a peace treaty was quickly declared that appeased both sides and since then The Order has made strong allies with all of the factions on the East of Osterra.

Political Structure:

Although most decisions are made by Grimble Ironarm (Skippy Lipman), The Order strives to have all of its members' voices heard. The Order acts more as a team than a governing body. If one hero would like to step into a role of leadership in any aspect, they are more than welcome to do so at any time provided the rest of the team accepts them in that position.

The Library of Osterra:

The Library of Osterra allows players to expand their knowledge on lore of the realm and to also create and expand on the history that we have worked to create. Preserving documents and artifacts has always been a central goal of the Library as well, in order for players to have a place to go back and recap past experiences and maybe try to find something new.

Roleplay and Oppurtunties:
The Order presides in a unique position in the realm. Led primarily by Skippy Lipman, many of the roles The Order takes involve NPC gameplay as well as PC gameplay focused on driving storylines in the realm and creating intrigue amongst the factions of the realm. By being a true neutral group dedicated to protecting what has already existed in the realm, The Order often finds itself on the other side of problems and issues surrounding forces of Osterra. This rarely results in inter-faction conflict, but The Order prides itself on being a voice for the antagonists and focuses on the morals of other groups and individuals, trying to make others question what is truly good and evil.
