Xoticus is a veteran of the Everwar from another world, and a zealot in service to the demigod of Courage, Battle, and Hunger, the Black Lion Tharros. Tharrosians are not widely trusted in Osterra, as they seem more preoccupied with glory in battle and rebuilding their lost Tharrosian Empire than the well being if those who do not walk the path of the Lion. Still, thier prowess in battle as well a grasp on the Arcane has proved them to be a valuable ally in the demonic incursions. Xoticus was instrumental in reawakening the Ley Lines along with Laya and Kay, at a time when the Risa Fae were hostile towards arcana, as he believed that it was key to defeating Shagarash and his minions.
