A great kingdom, stretching from the plateau of the Great Forest to the northeastern peninsula of Vetus Mundi. The kingdom is ruled by King Aethelred, who supports a feudalistic system, with a tight control of wealth towards the top that lends lands to be worked on by the lower class members of society. This is mostly run on family heritage and upwards mobility is extremely limited.

Valon has a long-standing feud with the Principality of Nuln, to the south. King Arthelred’s own brother, Rory, leads the privateers of Nuln in defiance of their way of life.
