I. PREAMBLE

This document is a print of the Agreement between the Wardens Faction (“Wardens”) and the White Ravens Faction (“the W. Ravens”), (together, “the Parties”) that the Parties wish to define the borders of their territory in the land of Nova Regnus. The Parties intend to work together to bring peace to Osterra, free its people from the rule of tyranny, and develop its natural resources.

II. NON-AGGRESSION PACT

The Parties to this Agreement agree that no attacks will be made directly by one Party against any territory controlled by another Party. The Parties to this Agreement further agree that they will not induce any other force (be it mercenary, monster, or a faction who is not a Party to the Agreement) to attack any territory controlled by another Party to this Agreement. Any such act would be considered a violation of this Agreement.

III. CLAIMS OF TERRITORY

The Parties hereby lay claim to specific territories within Nova Regnus. The Parties hereby agree that they will not attempt to attack or take control of a territory controlled or claimed by another Party to this Agreement. The Parties further agree that specific territories claimed in this Section will be treated as territory controlled by a specific party for purposes of Section II.

A. The W. Ravens lay claim to Hexes 3614 and 4114.

B. The Wardens lay claim to Hex 4312.

F. The W. Ravens and Wardens each lay claim to Hexes 4213 and 4212. At a time to be determined later, each Party will take a land action to control one of the two Hexes. Once complete, control of each Hex will be shared between the Wardens and the W. Ravens. An official border between the factions shall be drawn through the middle of Hexes 4213 and 4212, in a north-south direction. Both parties will share in the seasonal rewards equally. The decision to build any improvements must be unanimous, and benefits gained from such improvements shall be shared equally.

IV. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Should the Parties enter into a dispute on any matter, they may call upon a Council to settle the matter. The Council shall consist of: one person chosen to be a Judge by each Party; and either one or two additional persons mutually agreed on by the Judges; such that the Council shall always consist of an odd number of Judges. The Parties in dispute will present each side of their argument. The Judges will then decide the appropriate resolution, by majority vote.

V. ENFORCEMENT OF TREATY TERMS

A violation of Sections II and III shall constitute a violation of the Agreement. The Parties to this Agreement agree to resolve the violation through the use of the Dispute Resolution process identified in Section IV. Should this process be insufficient to resolve the matter, the Party which committed the violation shall be treated as if it had announced its intention to withdraw from the Treaty. The Effective Date shall be the date of the violation.

VI. YEARLY MODIFICATION

The Parties shall meet each year at the Winter Council of Osterra to discuss changes to the Agreement terms. Modifications shall be mutually agreed upon by all Parties, and shall take effect at a date to be chosen by all Parties. Changes will be memorialized by the signature of all Parties.

VII. ADDITION OF NEW SIGNATORIES

New Parties may be added to the Agreement at any time, subject to certain requirements:

a. New Parties must control lands in Nova Regnus;

b. Parties to the existing Agreement must unanimously agree to add a New Party; and

c. The New Party must agree to the terms of the existing Agreement;

When a new Party is added, the Agreement will include modifications to Section III, covering the Claims of Territory.

VIII. DISSOLUTION OF THE AGREEMENT

Should a Party wish to leave the Agreement, it may announce its intention to do so at any time. That Party will no longer be bound by the terms of the Agreement, and will no longer reap any of its benefits. The Effective Date that the Party leaves will be the end of the current season, the day after the seasonal harvest, such that the leaving Party will receive any harvest benefits specified in any Section of the Agreement.
