Brimstone
Brimstone is a fishing town north of New Ravenfall, located on Manticore Bay. It is surrounded by sulfur marshes, which give it a very unique and memorable aroma that visitors do not soon forget.
Origin
When the eastern peninsula was cut off from the rest of Nova Regnus by demons, The Cast attempted to find a route to a location in the north where they could evacuate the people via ships. After traveling through multiple chaos storms and searching the northern lands, they came across a fortress in the process of being built.
Those being made to build the fortress were locals who had been enslaved by a warlord working for the demons in the west. Once the warlord was dealt with, the people were freed, and The Cast helped them establish the village of Brimstone nearby using resources from the un-finished fort. To show their thanks to The Cast, the villagers built a large dock and trading vessel to be used to evacuate the people to their south should New Ravenfall be overrun.
Growth
When word spread that The Cast had found a place north of New Ravenfall to act as evacuation site, many locals and refugees were anxious to try and make their way there as quickly as possible. When the chaos storms that cut off the northern peninsula from New Ravenfall mysteriously cleared, Brimstone saw a rapid influx of new residents eager to be as far from the threat of demons as possible. Now a larger town, people have remained in Brimstone to make a living off fishing and trading in Manticore Bay.
