Rhu’Hen
The village of Rhu’Hen is situated in the dense forests just south of the ruins of the transportation obelisk on the eastern peninsula of Nova Regnus. It sits within a sort of micro climate due to the large mountains surrounding it on almost all sides, and the coastline sitting just to its north.
Origin
Upon The Cast’s discovery of the ruins of an ancient obelisk on the beaches of Manticore Bay, the area was quickly fortified with a watchtower, and the general public kept away until the site could be studied.
This was not difficult. Massive chaos storms bombarded the coastline of the area frequently, and most would rather flee east away from the encroaching demon threat, not west towards it. However, when the chaos storms disappeared and the obelisks located around Nova Regnus were found to be portal transportation hubs that had been activated, people began traveling to and settling in the valley near the obelisk with the hopes of seeing or even using the portal technology. With the threat of chaos storms gone, the area was found to be quite fertile and pleasant, and those living in the new village of Rhu’Hen have come to pride themselves on being the first to welcome travelers through the nearby obelisk to the eastern peninsula of Nova Regnus.

The Obelisk
Stone’s Throw Cave - a cave in the mountains near Rhu’Hen that was the site of a battle between The Cast and several giants. Many make the trek to see the massive graves that The Cast left there for the giants out of respect for them.
