The Sea of Fate
This vast body of water is in the southern hemisphere, east of Nova Regnus and west of Mundus Ferox. Rumors from Native Osterrans are that its major islands were once named after the Three Fates of an Old religion: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropo. Though the origin has been lost to time, the Sea of Fate is recognized in name by all present-day mariners. It borders the Cimmerian Sea and Barren Bay.
The Sea of Fate has multiple islands and archipelagos, some inhabited and others unclaimed. It is known for coastal communities and strategic importance for maritime trade. The strength of its storms-- and its creatures-- is revered to the east, nearer to Mundus Ferox. Natives believe the Sea of Fate to be a proving ground, or even to have a mind of its own.
