The Armor of Ferdinand
This cursed full-plate armor belonged to the Greater Demon Ferdinand, the Runic Knight General of the demonic armies. His body seemingly disintegrated upon his defeat, leaving only his potent, baleful armor behind.

Backstory
Upon the completion of the Ebon Gate, a horde of demonic troops stormed into Osterra. Leading the charge was a behemoth, clad in a massive suit of plate armor adorned with runes. This was Ferdinand, the demon general. For months, his demonic troops cut a swath across both Nova Regnus and Vetus Mundi, plunging the world into chaos and disarray.
Very little is known about how the armor came to be constructed, but there are theories about its origins that are currently being investigated. The runes carved into the plates suggest it might have been made by dwarves long ago.
Currently the armor is held by The Sentinels, who are working tirelessly to destroy it completely. As of late, it has been broken down into ingots, but the corruptive aura still holds.
Destruction
The Armor of Ferdinand has been unmade in the fires of the World Forge deep beneath Osterra. The Sword of Sylvia was sacrificed in order to do so at Rites of Spring 2025.
Qualities
The qualities of the Armor of Ferdinand are not commonly known, other than it is difficult to destroy, and that it is infused with demonic corruption. Such corruption is at first nigh-unrecognizable, but can like a switch change a person to engage in atrocities with the right trigger.
Physical description
The Armor of Ferdinand was initially full plate armor with blue runic symbols and a ruby jewel in its breastplate. Ferdinand’s armor is cumbersome and heavy, making the general almost impervious to most forms of attack. The edges of the armor have runes carved into them that appear dwarven in origin. The armor exudes a corrupting aura, bending the mind of anyone who touches it to its own will.
