A harbor town located at the edge of the Vidarian Khanate. It is nicknamed by the nomads as the gateway to the worlds, referring to the sea it touches and the continent beyond it.

Before the Khanate, no official towns dotted the coastline, only scattered villages eking out a living. Frequent pirate raids from Nuln marred the prosperity of these settlements until the Tharrossian and White Raven blockades reduced such threats. With the influx of refugees and merchants to the Khanate's shores, Tonghai experienced a surge in prosperity. Acknowledging its strategic importance, the great Khan entrusted the management of the burgeoning population to his bey, Ulfric. Now, Tonghai flourishes as a pivotal shipyards and trading port, facilitating commerce for the Khanate and offering a welcome respite for travelers crossing the seas.
