Cockatrice Algae

These partially multicellular beings are large collections of single celled organisms with only the ability to stick and expand. Using rocks as a base to operate on, they form large construct-like creatures.

They aren't completely passive, as they understand that they are in a constant competition for sunlight against other plant life. They are slow creatures that don't rest and will attack anything blocking their patch of sunlight. The Cockatrice Algae don't have all perception organs and mostly rely on touch and wind for information.

Description

Antéros is the next evolution from Preros, with the addition of heat and gravity among other things. Large floating icebergs fly around planet. Somehow they are still in the air, as the planet still has an uncompleted concept of gravity.

The plants on this planet have evolved in interesting ways, unheard of on other worlds. The plants have covered the floating icebergs, stringing them together to form a strange net around the world.

As the concept of heat and melting started to form, the introduction of magma in the core followed. While the crust of the world is still thin, land is starting to pop up occasionally. Mountains can erupt and crumble into nothingness within the span of a single week.

Ouras - The Crown

Throughout the history of the universe all worlds were spawned by a singular world seed. This seed has grown into a large cosmos that now makes seeds for new worlds. The process of a seed becoming a new world takes about half a million years, but metamorphosis continues long afterwards. Within the crown of the tree are three worlds; each in a different stage. There used to be four worlds in the crown, but the world of Eyore Pos - Hades became too heavy and has fallen near the roots to become a new world tree.

Gnac'na'valre (Gith Enclave)

Even if the world of Antéros doesn't have a survivable atmosphere from the lack of oxygen, it is still more survivable than scaling the world tree. By building a base using normal trees from the material plane and local plants, the Gith have been able to create a small outpost that is able to survive on this plane.
