DescriptionAround the roots of Destra Minta was the fully formed world of Styno, but in centuries the constant chaos has broken the planar boundry. Its inhabitants were a choatic bunch, but in their attempt to breach the boundries they were driven mad into the demons we now fear.
The Manic Tunnels
The world of Styno isn't spherical, it is coiled around the mangrove roots of Destra Minta. Its caverns and tunnels are connected loosely by mere cracks of in the stone which only open momentary at night. Most worlds are build almost horizontal, but Styno is vertical with no differance in pressure according to how low you travel.
Disaster Hazards
Gravity Clock
Gravity's function is barely noteable in this submerged plane, but still noticable. The curious part is that gravity shifts ever so slightly, having made a full rotation every 36 hours. This does tend to be important since most monsters will either sink of float up quickly in ambushs, so prepare for battle when gravity is parralel to your tunnel.
Shadow Phobia
The lack of light isn't a coincidence, it is the entity "Venthros". They are the consuming shadow that will slowly digest any organism that is standing in the shadows, taking around 1d6 acid damage per minute. This would have been easy if fire could exist in this world, but it can't.
The Pulse Tide
Occationally, in a pattern unknown, a large pressure wave is forced through the tunnels. Not losing power, it drives a few lesser shock waves before unleashing destruction. Any creature not tided down will be pulled in and placed miles further within seconds, lets just hope a stalagmite hasn't intercepted that journey.
