The Orgullian Kingdom, a realm shrouded in mystery and wonder, is a land forged by the Day of the Molten Crown, an event that serves as the foundation for its current existence. Rising from the ashes of a once-burned city, Òrgûll, the kingdom is home to a unique amalgamation of dwarves who have achieved remarkable prosperity and restored the city to its former glory. Central to the kingdom's resurgence is the awe-inspiring Great Quarry of Orgull. This monumental excavation extends from the crust of the earth to the depths of the underdark, a feat of engineering that showcases the dwarves' ingenuity. The Great Quarry serves as the lifeblood of the kingdom, yielding precious resources like gold, gemstones, and rare minerals. Not only does it sustain the dwarves' prosperity, but it also bolsters the kingdom's economic and political influence throughout the realm.

The Day of the Molten Crown: A Tale of Dragons and Deceit

Long ago, in the ancient annals of history, the world was under the threat of a conspiracy that could plunge it into chaos. A group of power-hungry dragons, led by the cunning Ushrindi, the ruthless Azam Al-wahsh, and the wise Keep Glaurak, sought to amass the world's wealth and power by burning it all down. Their nefarious plan was to bring devastation upon the realms, leaving nothing but smoldering ruins and stolen treasures.

In the face of this dark conspiracy, Keep Glaurak grew weary of his brethren's malevolence. Instead of joining in the destruction, he devised a daring plan that could counter their evil plot. Glaurak disguised himself as a dwarf and ventured into the heart of the dwarven kingdom, Orgull. With his mastery of magic, he polymorphed into a dwarf, adopting their appearance and mannerisms. As he walked among them, Glaurak observed the hardships and struggles of these hardworking dwarves, who had once been the victims of the dragons' treachery.

Over time, Glaurak became an integral part of the dwarven community. He won their trust, and they looked upon him as one of their own. Unbeknownst to them, their new friend was, in reality, a powerful dragon, using his influence to lead them away from the path of destruction.

Meanwhile, the other dragons executed their sinister plan. On a fateful day known as the Day of Molten Crowns, they unleashed their fiery wrath upon the world. Cities burned, kingdoms fell, and chaos reigned. Amidst the turmoil, the Orgullian dwarves were not spared. Their beloved city, Orgull, was engulfed in scorching lava, leaving only a few survivors struggling to rebuild amidst the ashes.

Glaurak, however, had prepared for this moment. Using his vast knowledge of magic, he shielded Orgull from the worst of the destruction. The dwarves believed it was their resilience that had saved them, but in reality, it was their disguised dragon friend who had saved their kingdom from total annihilation.

With Ushrindi, Azam Al-wahsh, and the other dragons believing Orgull to be destroyed, they moved on to conquer more lands, leaving the dwarves to rebuild in peace. Under Glaurak's guidance, the dwarves worked tirelessly, restoring their city to its former glory. They dug even deeper into the quarry, extracting vast reserves of gold that would remain a well-kept secret from the outside world.

Throughout the years that followed, Glaurak watched over the dwarves, aiding them in times of need and guiding their progress. His influence was discreet, and few suspected the true identity of their savior. As the kingdom thrived, the dwarves continued their tradition of secrecy, carefully guarding the knowledge of their dragon ruler and the hidden wealth they possessed.

Thus, the Orgullian Kingdom endured, a testament to the resilience of its people and the cunning of Keep Glaurak, who chose to protect rather than destroy. The Day of Molten Crowns became a symbol of hope and rebirth, reminding the dwarves that even in the darkest of times, a guiding light could lead them to a prosperous future. And so, the secret of the dragon ruler remained hidden, waiting to be discovered by those who dare to venture deep into the heart of the City of Gold.

The Great City of Orgull

At the heart of the Orgullian Kingdom lies the great city of Orgull, aptly named the City of Gold. The city's main quarry, an awe-inspiring excavation, stretches from the mountaintop to the depths of the underdark. Its labyrinthine streets wind through the bustling city, bustling with the industry of miners who call the sides of this glorious hole their home. The quarry is not only the primary source of gold for the kingdom but also supplies precious resources to the entire continent, making the Orgullian dwarves pivotal players in regional economics.

The Great Quarry of Orgull

The Great Quarry of Orgull is an awe-inspiring excavation located in the heart of the majestic city of Orgull, within the Orgullian Kingdom. This remarkable mine is a testament to the dwarves' ingenuity and dedication to their craft. Spanning from the crust of the earth to the depths of the underdark, the quarry is a monumental engineering feat that has become the lifeblood of the kingdom.

At the surface level, the quarry presents itself as a sprawling complex of mining operations, with skilled dwarven miners tirelessly extracting precious resources such as gold, gemstones, and rare minerals. As one delves deeper into the earth, the labyrinthine passages and tunnels wind through layers of rock, revealing the rich veins of gold that have sustained the prosperity of the dwarven kingdom for generations.

The true marvel of the Great Quarry lies in its vertical reach, as it extends even further into the dark underbelly of the world, reaching down into the depths of the underdark. This ambitious undertaking showcases the dwarves' determination to explore the uncharted depths and harness the hidden wealth that lies beneath the surface.

Despite the numerous challenges posed by excavating in the underdark, the dwarves have mastered the art of navigating the treacherous subterranean realm. They have built elaborate support structures, ingeniously designed elevators, and sophisticated lighting systems to illuminate the dark recesses of the mine.

The Great Quarry is not only a source of unimaginable wealth for the dwarven kingdom but also serves as a strategic resource that bolsters the region's economic and political power. The precious resources extracted from its depths are not only used for the city's opulence but also fuel extensive trade networks that span the entire continent.

Though the Great Quarry is a symbol of prosperity and success, it is also shrouded in an aura of mystery. The dwarves keep tight control over access to the deepest levels, safeguarding their most prized treasures from outsiders. Only a select few are allowed to venture to these depths, and the true extent of the quarry's riches remains a well-guarded secret known only to the dwarven elite.

Trade and Secrecy

The Orgullian dwarves, while mostly reclusive, are not completely isolated from the world. They maintain amicable trade relations with numerous kingdoms and races, being willing to conduct business with anyone except their arch-nemesis, Avanar. However, outsiders only glimpse the surface of Orgullian culture. Behind the facade of a diminished empire, the dwarves have amassed immense wealth and prosperity. The true extent of their riches remains a well-guarded secret, known only to a select few within the kingdom.
