Introduction to Domos
Domos's story progression works in cycles. We're currently working on Cycle 5. So, there have been four other storylines before this one. You don't need to know anything about this to play, but there may sometimes be jokes or references to previous cycles that you won't understand. Feel free to ask in the Discord if there's anything you don't understand.

The setting of Cycle 5: Bu-Birkata
Domos will be travelling to the land of spice, trade, and magic for its fifth cycle: The Triad Dragon Emirates of Avanar. Ruled by its great dragons, it’s the bridge between the north and south of the Domusian continent, covered in vast deserts, plagued by sandstorms, and holding some of the largest cities in the world. The nation of Avanar was once a great plain thousands of years ago, littered with little settlements and vast wildlife. But several millenia ago it was caught up in a great war, causing the great covering, where a torrent of elemetals changed the surface into a hellish, unlivable, arid landscape.
You all find yourself in the smallest, but arguably the most important of the Avanari cities: Bu-Birkata, after answering the call of a wealthy benefactor called Ja'amys. This coastal city, holding a little over a hundred thousand people, is one of the most important trade hubs, political centers, and academically important cities of the world. The bustling streets of the cities, filled with spice, incense, and other treasures, will be your home. The city is ruled by the great brass dragon Tratainauthfelingeir, presiding over the city from its giant palace, the al-Qasr Alnuhas, or from the Great Spire of the Crimson College.
The city, however, isn’t just ruled by a Wyrm, but is plagued with bureaucracy, corporate influence, and corruption. With The Open Hand holding a monopoly over most trade in and out of the city. Recently, some gangs have taken territory for themselves in several districts of the city, cutting into the monopoly of the Open Hand. Ja'amys, a first dragonseed, has therefore sent out posters to all corners of the world, looking for people who will help him protect his territory.
