Draconian Dynasty

Calendar

Within Draconia, they utilize a 365 day year, divided into 5 phases, or "months" of 73 days each. These phases are known as Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, and Metal. Each phase is named for an element, and they tend to state the "era" as well as the year, instead of "After Rupture" like Zaria uses. Such as saying it is "the 46th day of Water, during the 4,027'th Year of the Jīnsè". Jīnsè being the current "Era" of the Draconian Empire, and the family name of the current Royal Family that was taken during their rise to power and fame.

It is currently considered the 4,027'th of Jīnsè in comparison to Zaria's 6,132 AR.

Currency

Due to the incredible importance placed on metals, minerals, and gemstones of any kind, as they are holy offerings to the Dragons that grant them protection, their currency is measured purely as a form of organization to enforce the law. They utilize carved wooden coins that are hardened with fire and engraved with their value atop them. This value is enforced by the Draconian empire, and as old coins are worn away they are replaced and exchanged in various stations in the Dynasty.

Dynasty

Imperial ruling family, Dragonborn descendants of the Celestial, chosen by her. Their word is law, and they are not immune to their own laws and can be put to death just as easily if they abuse their power.

Caste System

Castes are spread across the entire Empire, and a caste can only breed with their own caste members, but never within the same family, inbreeding is illegal and heavily frowned upon due to the longevity of the standard Draconian citizen’s lifespan.

Military Ranks

Uses a system based on stars, with one star being a freshly graduated recruit up to a five-star having command over several battalions. This is then surpassed by a Ringed Sun representing the sun of Xardia with a ring cutting through it, and the Sun being the head general of the entire military second only to the Emperor/ress.
