The coastline ahead is broken and wild. At the base of the cliff, the shattered stone walls of old homes lie half-buried in sand, weathered ruins long claimed by wind and sea. Small crabs scurry through the rubble, vanishing as the waves crash behind them.

A narrow stairway of worn stone climbs the cliff face, its steps uneven with age. At the top stands a lone abandoned shanty, with its windows boarded up.
