As you move through the high wooded roads of Saltmarsh, nestled among some tress is a solitary tower. Built of pale stone, the three-story spire is capped with a slate roof that gleams in the sun. Narrow windows glare out like watchful eyes, and a faint warding sigils can sometimes be glimpsed along the stones if the light catches just right.

The townsfolk give the place a wide berth, hurrying past with lowered voices. A faint scent of incense and something acrid drifts from a high window. Standing at the heavy oaken door, you cannot help but feel the weight of unseen eyes upon you, as though the wizard within already knows you’ve come.
