4th Floor Description

Private Study
This room feels more personal than the others. A single desk faces the southeast window, where a faded note rests upon its surface. In the corner stands a stone bust adorned with a red turban, identical to the one Keledek wears. Shelves of scrolls and old books line the walls beside a tall mirror, while an aged tapestry hangs on the north wall, its colors dim with time. A narrow balcony extends outward, where a brass telescope points toward the distant horizon.
The Desk:
The note here is a fragment written by Zenopus (see Secrets of Zenopus quest).Artifacts & Lore:
Searching the room uncovers numerous relics and texts about Zenopus and the ruins. This chamber reveals Keledek’s true obsession, the sole reason he came to Saltmarsh. The Mirror:
Similar to the enchanted mirror at the tower’s entrance, this mirror allows Keledek to scry into others of its kind. Several of these magical mirrors are hidden throughout Saltmarsh, enabling him to observe both townsfolk and council members from afar. The Tapestry:
An ancient weaving from Ket, crafted on a circular loom. It depicts the phases of the moon and was once used in ceremonies to divine omens. Keledek still follows this tradition, practicing the old ways of his homeland. The Statue:
A life size statue recovered from the ruins of Zenopus, believed to represent the wizard himself. It carries no magical properties, though Keledek often addresses it as if in conversation, musing aloud about Zenopus’s discoveries and the location of his hidden book. The Telescope:
Positioned on the balcony and trained northwest, the telescope is fixed on the ruins of Zenopus’s tower, which sits in the distance on a barren hilltop just beyond Saltmarsh.
