Library 2nd Floor

The second floor of the library is silent and immaculate. A polished wooden balcony overlooks the floor below. By the bay windows, a round table and two high-backed chairs sit in the light. Glass-fronted cases line the walls, displaying carefully preserved rare books and scrolls. The air carries the scent of old parchment and polished wood, and not a trace of dust can be seen.

Benedict's Room

Benedict’s room is spare and immaculately kept. The bed is crisply made, the floor spotless, and nothing lies out of place. A polished desk beneath the window holds neatly arranged quills, ink, and a leather-bound ledger. The fireplace is swept and ready, with a tidy stack of cut wood beside it. Two fur rugs soften the austere space, and above the hearth hangs a finely crafted longbow—a quiet mark of his skill and discipline.

  • The desk contains a carefully kept ledger recording visitors, meal orders, and staff wages, all written in Benedict’s precise hand.

  • Mounted above the hearth is a finely crafted longbow. A DC 13 Arcana or Investigation check reveals it to be a +1 magical weapon.

Guest Room

The guest room is spacious and refined, designed to impress. Rich wood furnishings, fine linens, and polished brass lend a quiet elegance. Tall windows overlook Javan Bay, the sea stretching to the horizon, while glass doors open to a private balcony where salt air and distant waves drift in. Every detail is deliberate—tasteful, precise, and reflective of a host who values honor as much as appearance.

Private Bath

The bath is orderly and refined. A copper tub sits beneath a bay window, sunlight glinting off tiled floors as sea air drifts in. The space is spotless and meticulously kept. Beyond it, a private changing room holds neatly hung uniforms, crisp and exact. A small shelf of brushes, grooming tools, and scented oils completes the scene—everything arranged with quiet, military precision

Elainder's Private Room

Eliander’s private room is stately and well-appointed, reflecting both his disciplined lifestyle and noble heritage. The furniture is solid and refined—dark wood with modest carvings, a large bed neatly made with crisp linens, and a writing desk free of clutter. A small door opens onto a private balcony overlooking the manor’s front entrance, while another leads directly to the private bath

Items in the room include:

  • Framed military commendation from his time in Keoland’s army

  • Weathered campaign map marked with old troop movements

  • Wooden case containing correspondence and sealed orders

  • Sword rack with a ceremonial longsword and a well-used training blade

  • Private Journal kept beside the bed

  • Decanter of aged brandy and two simple glasses

  • Small shrine to St. Cuthbert, quietly kept and discreet
