Torren’s Private Chamber

This quiet chamber is warmed by a steady hearth, its firelight flickering across worn stone walls. A tall bookcase stands nearby, packed with scrolls and rune-etched tomes marked in Torren’s precise hand.

The furnishings are spare: a heavy chair before the fire, a sturdy table strewn with open parchments, and a rune-carved lamp casting a soft amber glow. The room feels less like a place of rest and more like a refuge for study—measured, solitary, and intent.

Torren “Ash-Eyes” Flintcloak

  • Thorek Gemhand rarely allows visitors into this room.

  • Among the scrolls and notes is a Journal.

Guest Room

The room is simple and sparsely furnished, offering basic accommodations for a visiting guest. A modest bed, a small table with a stool, and a chest for personal belongings are all that occupy the space.

This room is usually reserved for a dwarf from the company visiting from the Tor Mountains. It’s currently unoccupied and contains nothing of value or interest unless you've seeded it with something specific.

Dworic's Private Chamber

The foreman's room is modest and practical. A neatly folded set of spare clothes and boots rest near the bed, alongside a few well-used mining tools. The space is clean, tidy, and clearly maintained by someone who values order and efficiency.

Dworic is only present about 20–30% of the time, spending most of his days overseeing operations at the mine. He stays here when visiting Copperlocks for monthly updates, staffing reviews, or logistical needs. A no-nonsense dwarf, Dworic requires little comfort and keeps the room utilitarian. There is nothing of value here unless planted intentionally.

Barun's Private Chamber

This small, orderly room reflects the mind of a meticulous archivist. A desk holds carefully stacked notes, along with a list of duties and documentation protocols for the stone tablets Barun uses to record the mine’s history. The rest of the chamber is modest—just a simple bed, a chair, and a wall shelf with a few personal items—everything in its proper place.

Barun Deepdelve

Barun’s private notes mix regional myth with mounting concern over something deep in the mines. His frustration with Copperlocks’ dismissal is clear.

If discovered, the notes offer cryptic hints of a long-buried danger far below.

Thorek's Private Chamber

The master gem cutter’s room is clean, orderly, and purpose-driven. Two tall cabinets stand against the wall, filled with finely crafted gem-cutting tools and an assortment of semi-precious stones. A large bed rests beneath the window, its linens neatly arranged—simple, but well cared for.

Thorek Gemhand

The tools here are masterfully crafted and custom-forged for precision work. The semi-precious gems are practice pieces—evidence Thorek refines his skill even off duty.

The space reflects total devotion to craft: everything has purpose, nothing extraneous.

Bath Room

Two bathrooms are readily available, each featuring a small cabinet beneath housing chamber pots that the staff regularly empty. Among these facilities, one bathroom stands out, boasting an ornate brass bath tub accompanied by an assortment of scented oils for a luxurious bathing experience.

Lounge

A warm lounge opens around a steady hearth, its chairs arranged for easy conversation. Stone cabinets hold regional spirits and Saltmarsh wines, and a stout keg stamped with the Salty Dwarf Brewing Co. mark stands ready to pour. A carved tobacco box and a row of wooden pipes rest nearby—small comforts for a quiet evening.

Barun Deepdelve and Torren Flintcloak often meet here to relax and argue lore. Barun presses his theories about what lies beneath the mine; Torren counters with talk of lost relics and wandering magic.

Copperlock's Private Chamber.

This spacious chamber reflects Copperlocks’ rank—well-appointed yet practical. A private bathing alcove rests near the hearth, fitted with a copper vent to draw away steam. Thick stone walls hush the outside world.

Carved shelves, a reinforced wardrobe, a writing desk, and a broad dwarven bed draped in heavy blankets furnish the room. Copper accents and deep violet textiles lend quiet elegance without excess.

Manistrad Copperlocks

Copperlocks uses this chamber for rest and discreet one-on-one meetings. Each week she invites a trusted staff member here to speak freely—an approach that builds loyalty and keeps her attuned to morale.

No business valuables are stored here; ledgers remain in her office. She does keep a few personal heirlooms:

  • Flameheart Circlet — Copper and ruby clan circlet; said to warm the wearer (250 gp).

  • Ancestral Forgehammer — Miniature basalt hammer inlaid with silver runes; ceremonial blessing tool (300 gp to collectors or clan dwarves).

  • Silver Beard Ring of Clan Copperlocks — Garnet-set symbol of status (150 gp; priceless sentimentally).

Office & Storage

Copperlocks’ private office is compact and efficient, its shelves lined with ledgers tracking shipments between harbor and mine—manifests, merchant accounts, and gem tallies.

A small adjoining storage room holds neatly arranged supplies: tools, spare equipment, maintenance materials, and additional records.

The office door is locked; only Copperlocks and Dworic hold keys.

Inside are detailed shipping manifests, gem inventories, merchant accounts, and security procedures. Such records would be valuable to the Scarlet Brotherhood, the Sea Princes, or agents of Gellan Primewater—information capable of disrupting trade or exposing alliances if stolen.
