Leopaldo Cante is a dwarven man the party encountered while locked in the cell on the second floor of Beacon Indigo. He warned the party about not interfering with the strife, and suggested they not involve themselves with "dangerous relics."

Upon dealing with Kaloy on the roof, the party found his cell empty.

Later, the party learned from Janissa Abalon that Leopaldo Cante was the world’s preeminent scholar of classical folklore and common ballad but had disappeared from Bell some years earlier, under shady circumstances.
