Legend
Snozzglops was abandoned as a baby on the streets of Upper Oakmouth and raised by Halflings. As he grew, the other children of the village would make fun of him for his peculiar features and strange mannerisms. His nose would always run, which is how he got the nickname Snozzglops. One day, the boy was chased out of the village by the other kids, so he fled into The Shroud, where he came across a prowling Wolf. How he tamed the creature is uncertain, but with it he rode on the back of the wolf into the settlement with the plan on scaring the other children for good. However, his intentions backfired when the Wolf pounced and devoured one of the boys.
Upper Oakmouth in their horror of finding one of their own mutilated, chased Snozzglops from the settlement back into the woods, where we was never allowed back again.
His hatred for the Halflings grew as he made his way deeper into The Shroud, until he stumbled across an abandoned Castle, buried within the thick trees and hills. There, he discovered he was not the only of his Kin around. Other Goblins, living in squalor and despair, with no leadership, no food, or tools.
Snozzglops declared to these Goblins he knew of a place where they could find all the tools and food they wanted and promised to bring prosperity to his Kin!
He led the Goblins back to Upper Oakmouth, and within one night, he had the village raided and ransacked. Those who chastised him were put to death. Only a few Halflings were spared, including his parents, who fled south.
With the stolen goods, Snozzglops put his Kin to work turning their old castle into a fortress, with him as their leader. Now, Snozzglops, still only young, claims ownership of The Shroud, and attacks any that enter his forest.
