Gods and Religion of Azure

It cannot be overstated the importance of belief in this world. Without a belief in something greater than themselves, the little hope that people hang onto after a life of work and toil would shatter. Even in less harsh areas of the world, creation myths and divine acts explain away the mysteries of life, backed up by the obvious and immense power granted to the most devout followers of these religions.

While there is an obvious divine presence, explained by the observable difference between the Abyssos Arcanum and that which is channelled from the gods, it is not known for certain from where this power is drawn.
A high priest of the Eight Saints of Lythran may command mighty sorceries, but a mirror of this power could be produced from a Swamp-Shaman of Solunism.

This uncertainty has caused countless arguments turned feuds turned battles throughout history, and is unlikely to stop unless only one true religion remains.
