House Athran of Destin Towers is the Great House of Old Teres, led by Roland Athran, Realmlord of Old Teres. The Athran banners are emblazoned with a brown bear on a field of red.

The device on their arms represents the strength and resilience of house Athran during the Dwarvern Rebellion. They took the sigil in honor of their fallen patriarch Christoph "The Bear" Athran, who died on The Red Steppes in 302 AUE; beforehand, their device was a crowned tree on a grey field.

They trace their heritage back to a marriage between Lythenmar and a Briarhill.

History

After two sons of Athran; Meridus and Viktor, betrayed the Eolder Council during the Red Sky War, House Athran were significantly punished, but were allowed to keep their seat, due to Roland not turning his back on them himself.
The decision was made that the death of both of his sons was punishment enough.
