House Redenesse of Emer Gate is the Great House of Verdwel, led by Merwyn Redenesse, Realmlady of Verdwel. The Redenesse banners are emblazoned with a green ouroboros on a sea of red and sky of blue, patterned with moons and stars.

Before becoming head of House Redenesse, Merwyn Laton married into the family and sired one heir to Gorold Redenesse before he died. Their son, Rodrek Redenesse, is too young to be head of the family, so his mother is acting as head until he becomes of age.

Due to this change in leadership and status, the previous redenesse arms of an ouroboros on red and blue have been altered to show the sun and moon of House Laton WIP.

The original arms of House Redenesse featured an ouroboros because of their family's history with both the seas and prophecy.
