House Briarhill of Galeaford are the Great House of The Baselands, led by Gwenyth Briarhill, Realmlady of The Baselands. The Briarhill banners are emblazoned with three pines on a diagonal field of grey and black.

At the helm of House Briarford stands Lady Gwenyth Briarhill, also known as the Crone of Pines. She is one of the only two members of House Briarhill remaining, with the other being her 8 y/o grandson Roderick (Roy) Briarhill. As her grandson is too young to lead the house, she is regent until he comes of age.

Galeaford is one of the oldest castles in Lythran, with the ancient soldier pine in its yard being the icon for the house's arms.
