The Rump

The Rump; led by Lord Gerard of House Undertree, is the one of the smallest of the eight realms. It's sloped topography, high cliffs and dense southern forests shelter the Heartlands from the intense storms that wrack the realm.
The Tempell Forest is a coastal wood of rich coniferous and hardwoods that traps the cyclones and storm-bearing clouds that travel across the Lythic channel from the Wurming sea, subjecting the Rumps to intense rainfall and leading to a stereotypically cantankerous attitude from its citizens.
