"Dolor amus, eear maluur" - Ancient daily blessing among worshippers of Karüm

Basic Information

While Karüm is sometimes referred to in the singular, it more often refers to a way of life and method of worship.

The followers of Karüm believe that the power of the world and the magic behind it is not rooted in icons or humanistic deities, but in the rocks, the trees and the sky.

The power of Karüm dwells in everything, living or otherwise, and the arcane and wild magic that exists in the world exists through and because of this.

Because of Karüm's connection to nature, it has a lower population of followers in cities, but the strength of their worship becomes more vivid due to the longing it's worshippers feel when away from it.

Karüm is one of the oldest known belief systems in Lythran, existing long before the conquest and the empire. It is still practiced often by the members of the wildfolk and is deeply embedded in the culture of the eastern realms from before their anscestors' capitulation.
