The West
"The blood of covenant runs thick under the healed scars of Thêsos here."
The West Realms consist of two large administrative regions;, Norn and Old Teres.
The Realmlord of Norn is Ernest Goddswyk of House Goddswyk
The Realmlord of Old Teres is Roland Athran of House Athran
The West is a vast expanse of plains, dotted with hillocks and rough mountainous terrain. Coniferous forests paint the most northern reaches and some of the oldest settlements of Lythran remain in the sloping hills and woods of Old Teres. It's close positioning to Thêsos allows for short trade routes that can remain untroubled by pirate clans such as the Deck-Borne.

Sparknotes Chronology
The West of Lythran is the oldest of the Lythranic Realms; and although civilisations on the central continent have existed for far longer than Lythran has existed (and spread throughout the modern realms), the West Realms still hold a deep connection to the times before even the monarchy.
The west is a largely conservative territory, with views that have shifted further in recent times to emulate the military doctrine of ancient Thêsos, and with new religious beliefs to inspire the populous. While the West is the oldest established realm, it is also one of the most fractured. Feuds crack across the land like the valleys and rivers that wind through its soil, with ancient arguments that neither side knows the full story of but neither want to lose.
