About

The Lythic conquest was the brutal and devastatingly fast conquest of the core and majority of the east of what would become Lythran.

Wherever Aethelred made seat, he would leave a member of his royal trustees to establish rule and to begin making the beginning of a new empire.

This came with resistance of course. The native peoples of Lythran, a scattering of races who became known as the The Wildfolk fought back in conflicts ranging from raiding skirmishes to full scale war.

This conquest claimed most of what would become Lythran, save the mountains to the north and what would become The Baselands, The Fallowholds and The Saltides
